124 invitations were pressed from The Government of Prince Edward Island in the favor of all the interested candidates in the category of Labour and Business for their Provincial Nominee Program. The event took place on the 20th of September, 2018.
From the total of 124 invitations, 116 were occupied by the Express Entry and the Labour Impact Candidates. To all the PEI Express Entry Candidates, on getting a nomination from the province, they will be awarded 600 additional points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and would be moved to the front line for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) via Federal Express Entry selection system.
If a PEI employer supports and offers a foreign national with a valid job offer in the province, then they are found to be eligible for PEI’s Labour Impact Category. The three possible streams under this category are:
- Skilled Workers
- Critical Workers
- International Graduate
Two PEI Business Impact categories close
The province issued invitations in the category of Business Impact where a total of 8 invitations were issued with a minimum eligible score was found to be 152 on the program’s points grid. Sadly the September 20’s draw was the last window in the 100% Ownership and Partial Ownership Streams, and it has been now closed permanently.
Business applicants can still apply as PEI will continue to accept EOIs from potential Business Applicants under the Work Permit Stream.
