In the recent draw held on February 15, total of 444 invitations have been issued by Manitoba to eligible skilled workers and international students looking to move to the province. The draws have been issued under the categories of the Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba and International Education economic immigration streams.
It was the third draw of 2019 for the province. Manitoba has now invited 1,526 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for PR since the start of the year.
The Expression of Interest or EOI has been a major immigration stream for Manitoba. A candidate is required to create and complete an EOI profile that includes their education, work experience, proficiency in English or French, among other factors. The scores are given on the basis of the information provided. The candidates with the highest scores are then issued Letters of Advice to Apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence through regular draws from the group of eligible candidates for each category.
The draw also witnessed a total of 268 invitations being sent to two groups of candidates in the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream. The lowest ranked candidate in these groups scored 570 points.
The Manitoba Provincial Program also saw 120 invitations being issued to Skilled Worker in Manitoba’s candidates having scored as low as 574. Besides, the candidates belonged to International Education Stream got 34 invitations.CATEGORIES
