Global Talent Stream in Canada

In terms of technology research, development, and talent, Canada is a global leader.

The Canadian government offers the Global Talent Stream in recognition of the importance of the technology sector to the country’s economy.

Certain talented employees can get a work permit in two weeks if they apply through the Global Talent Stream.

It is one of the pillars of Canada’s Global Skills Strategy, which aims to assist innovative businesses in growing by ensuring that they have easy access to the highly qualified individuals they require.

This work stream, among other things, creates a two-week norm for processing highly skilled talent work permit applications (and temporary resident visas, if required).

Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program includes the Global Talent Stream.

The Global Talent Stream is divided into two categories:
