In the wake of the morning, on September 14, 2018, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued 432 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination in an Expression of Interest in a draw.

Under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream, The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issued 200 Letters of Advice to Apply to Manitoba Expression of Interest (EOI) pool candidates. The candidate with the score of 721 was the lowest ranked among all the invitees under the PNP’s unique point grid.

Under the MPNP’s Skilled Worker Overseas Stream an additional 150 invitations were issued to candidates with the lowest-ranked candidate invited through this stream had a score of 604.
Now the candidates for this stream should have a close relative in Manitoba or have a past experience in education/work experience in Manitoba, and a minimum language proficiency determined by the type of occupation. A 6 month of recent work experience is a must requirement in the in-demand occupation.

The MONP also had 82 candidates under the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative who were issued an invitation.
All the candidates who were invited by the MPNP have been given 60 days to submit a complete application through their online MPNP account.
Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP is the first step to become a permanent resident in Manitoba.
